Battle of the Year – The breakdancing (or “B-boy”) film starring Josh Holloway, Josh Peck, and Chris Brown has been pushed from this January all the way to September 13th, 2013.

No reason is given for the move (per Box Office Mojo), but the film now opens opposite I, Frankenstein and The Little Mermaid 3D.

“LOST” and Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol star Josh Holloway has joined the cast of David Ayer’s upcoming Ten (formerly Breacher), Variety reports. He will star opposite the previously-announced Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sam Worthington, Terrence Howard, Dawn Olivieri, Joe Manganiello, Malin Akerman and Mireille Enos.

The film follows an elite DEA task force that deals with the world’s deadliest drug cartels. Specializing in complex mobile operations, the team executes a tactical raid on a cartel safe house. What looks to be a typical raid turns out to be an elaborate theft operation, pre-planned by the DEA squad. After hiding millions in stolen cash, the team believes their secret is safe – until someone begins assassinating them one by one.

The original screenplay for Ten arrives from Skip Woods (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, A Good Day to Die Hard). Bill Block, Paul Hanson, Joe Roth, Palak Patel and Al Ruddy will serve as producers. Alex Ott of Ayer’s Crave Films is executive producer.

“Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol” thesp Josh Holloway is moving from the IMF to the FBI, as he has joined the cast of IM Global’s thriller “Paranoia,” which Relativity Media will distribute stateside.

Robert Luketic is directing from a script by Jason Dean Hall, based on a previous draft by Barry Levy. An adaptation of Joseph Finder’s novel of the same name, pic stars Liam Hemsworth, Harrison Ford, Gary Oldman, Amber Heard, Lucas Till, Embeth Davidtz, Julian McMahon and Richard Dreyfuss.

Hemsworth stars as a blue-collar guy who is blackmailed by his boss into spying on a rival company. Holloway will play an FBI agent investigating the corporate shenanigans who has a close eye on the protag.

“Paranoia” will be produced by Alexandra Milchan of Emjag Prods., Scott Lambert of Film 360 and Deepak Nayar. Relativity will release the film in the U.S. on Sept. 27, 2013. IM Global is handling international distribution.

Holloway, who broke out playing ‘Sawyer’ on ABC’s hit series “Lost,” is repped by WME, Brillstein Entertainment Partners and attorney Brad S. Small.

The first trailer for Battle of the Year has been released.  The film is based on the documentary of the same name that focused on the 2005 Battle of the Year and the B-boy (breakdancing) crews (teams) that took part in the competition.  Lost’s Josh Holloway stars as a basketball coach who reluctantly agrees to lead the team, which includes Josh Peck (The Wackness) and Chris Brown.

Directed by Benson Lee, the film also stars Laz Alonso and Caity Lotz.  Battle of the Year opens in 3D on January 25th.
